In the beginning God loved us all from the start. There was nothing we had to do to earn his love, it was just there. God came down to earth and carried everyone’s sin on his shoulders, not to mention he was crucified and tortured for us. Right there shows a great love.
Throughout the bible we see a lot of God’s love for us. I have listed a few of the many Bible verses about his love for us. This first one is a whole chapter and universally well known, Psalm 23. The first line is the lord is my Shepard. The God who created everything, and each and every one of you, is your personal Sheppard. More verses about his love are John 3:16; Roman’s 5:8, Roman’s 8:38 and 39, and 1 John 4:16.
The first one, John 3:16, is one i have mentioned a few times. It says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” this means that he loves us so much that he died to give us a chance for everlasting life.
Many times through the Bible we see Jesus loving and showing kindness to every person he met, no matter what sins they committed. Who ever is currently reading this, what ever you have done in your past, or what has happened to you, God loves you with a love so strong that it cannot be measured.
A lot of times people think that God does not love them, because he has let bad things happen to them, but God is not the one making then suffer that is just what the enemy wants people to think.
In Roman’s 5:8 it says “But God showed his great love for us by sending christ to die for us while we were still sinners”. If you think about all the horrible things people have done, Jesus still died for all those people, even though they might not accept him as their savior. They would still have a chance if they wanted the chance. Two more Bible verses are Roman’s 8:38,39 these two verses mean that nothing can separate us from the love of God. Not even death, angels, life, all the powers of hell, fears, or worries about tomorrow absolutely nothing can separate us from his love.
The verse 1 John 4:16 says, “We know how much God loves us because we have felt his love and because we believe him when he tells us that he loves us dearly. God is love, and anyone who lives in love is living with God and God is living in him”. This verse tells us that we can trust that christ loves us. It also mentions that if we are living in love, we are living in God and he is living in us.
The message of this is to let you know God love you more than you could ever imagine or know. God’s love his perfect and full of forgiveness and mercy. His love come naturally and there is nothing you could do make love you any less, or anymore. Just think God loved and knew you before you were even born and his love will never end and it never fails.
