Have you ever been discouraged by something that you did, or something that happened to you?Today I read an article about a lady who had an abortion believed she was not worthy of being a christian, and I felt the urge to write this.
It’s incredible to think that a powerful, almighty, ultimate judge and king in authority is so loving, compassionate and full of forgiveness and mercy. That he can forgive the most stubborn Sinner and completely change their life around. Everyone reading this has a sinful past. Just know that everyone sins and that there is a God who loves you more than you could ever know. He is eager to forgive you.
Before we become saved we are enslaved by sin and are on the way to eternal death, but through the grace of our wonderful lord Jesus christ you can be set free and no longer a slave to sin. You can become guilt free through the blood of Jesus on the cross. There are many Bible verses about Gods wonderful mercy and forgiveness such as, Matthew 26:28, 1 John 1:9, acts 13:38, ephesians 1:7, acts 2:38, 2 Chronicles 7:14, 2 Corinthians 5:7, and it also mentions it a lot throughout the book of James. Always remember that God forgives all our sins and forgets them. If we confess them and we will not have to face the horrific part of God’s wrath and judgment. Keep in mind that nothing is too small or too big for God to handle.
As I close this article, I want to encourage Christians reading this to keep staying in God’s word, and if you are not a believer, know that God still loves you. You are wonderfully made in his eyes and he can’t wait for you to let him in and so he can forgive you of your sins.
